One of the latest Bollywood events is that, The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) declared that the 14th IIFA Awards will be held in Macau – often dubbed the Las Vegas of Asia — from 4-6 July. The event’s approved destination partner will be the Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel, a luxury hotel and casino resort owned by the Las Vegas Sands. This is the second time the IIFAs will be held at the same venue after 2009.
IIFA is organized by Mumbai-based event management company Wizcraft Entertainment who also runs Kingdom of Dreams, a live entertainment and cultural venue near Delhi.
The IIFA announcement was made at the Kingdom of Dreams by a prominent Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan and actress Jacqueline Fernandez.

This year will be the third visit of Sonam Kapoor’s to the Festival de Cannes. The young actor is pleased to be part of the event and has been spending a lot of time researching and putting together her wardrobe for the same. A source close to the actor tells to the latest Bollywood news videos that, “She will be present at the opening ceremony of the festival on May 15 and will walk the red carpet the following day as well.”
And it is noted that she will be the only Indian present at the inaugural ceremony. Her spokesperson confirms this news in latest Bollywood videos: “Sonam will be the sole representative from Bollywood on the opening night. She will be there before the Indian contingent arrives on May 17 for several screenings and red-carpet events.”
Sonam told that, “This is the first time I will be part of the opening ceremony and I am extremely excited. Cannes brings together all the aspects of international cinema at one grand platform and this year, it is celebrating the 100 years of Indian cinema. I have never been more proud to be a part of this innovative industry.”
We’ve also got to know that the actor is also known for her style sense and will flaunt Bollywood-inspired make-up. Says the source, “This will be her way of paying tribute to the industry.”
